Coyote hills campout
The troop had an amazing time at the Coyote Hills campout held on October 24th through the 26th. It was a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, but more importantly, it was a huge success for our scouts focused on advancement and mentorship! Rank Up! Getting Requirements Signed Off For our many younger scouts (those under the rank of First Class), the weekend was packed with essential skills work. Many took advantage of the focused time with older, experienced scouts to get key requirements signed off. We're thrilled to see the progress made toward their next ranks! Leadership in Action: The EDGE Method A huge shout-out and thank you to our older scouts (especially those working toward Life rank and beyond) who showed outstanding leadership. The focus for them was putting the EDGE method (Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Enable) into practice. They stepped up, sharing their knowledge and patience to help the younger scouts master essential skills. The success of the weekend truly demonstrated the strong spirit of teamwork and mentorship within the troop. Whether you were learning how to tie a new knot or teaching fire safety, every scout played a vital role.
