Court of Honor - September 2025
Thank you to everyone who helped make our Court of Honor this past Thursday evening such a special event. It was inspiring to see the tremendous progress our Scouts have made since April, with 314 merit badges earned, 37 Scouts advancing in rank, and 44 special awards achieved—including everything from camping-nights neckerchief slides to the Mile Swim. Our Scouters were also hard at work, with 11 adults continuing their training through Scoutbook and summer camp, and 9 adults earning camping-nights slides of their own. A heartfelt thank you goes to the Scouts who demonstrated integrity by being honest about receiving a merit badge they had not yet earned—you truly live out the Scout Law. The lasting impact of Troops 722 and 2722 was made clear by the generous donation in honor of David Dunlap, reminding us of the difference Scouting makes in our community. As we look ahead, let’s encourage our Scouts to seek support from older Scouts, Scoutmasters, ASMs, and Merit Badge Counselors, and let’s each consider how we can support not just our own children, but each other's—thank you to those already giving so much of their time and energy.
